Privacy Policy

Ayóra Tribe Limited (“Ayóra Tribe,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect when you use ayoratribelimited.com, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have over it.

By using our site or placing an order, you agree to the practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

We collect information you give us directly:

• Order details — your name, phone number, email address, delivery address, the item and quantity ordered, and any note you add when placing an order.
• Contact form submissions — your name, email, the reason for reaching out, and your message.
• Newsletter sign-up — your email address, if you choose to subscribe.
• Corporate gifting enquiries— whatever details you share with us about your organization’s gifting needs.

We do notcollect or store your card details. Payments are entered directly on Paystack’s own secure checkout page — see Section 5.

We do not currently use analytics or advertising cookies on this site. The only cookie we set is a functional, encrypted session cookie used solely to keep our own staff signed in to the admin dashboard — it is never set for ordinary visitors browsing or shopping.

• To process, confirm, and fulfill your order.
• To communicate with you about an order, delivery, or enquiry.
• To send order and payment confirmation emails.
• To send newsletter updates, only if you’ve subscribed — you can unsubscribe at any time.
• To respond to corporate gifting and contact enquiries.
• To detect and prevent fraud and keep our systems secure.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run Ayóra Tribe, and only to the extent needed for them to do their job:

• Paystack — processes your payment. Paystack has its own privacy policy governing the payment details you give them directly.
• Resend — delivers our transactional emails (order confirmations, receipts).
• Google Firebase (Firestore) — securely stores order, product, and subscriber records on our behalf.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Ayóra Tribe, our customers, or others.

All payments are processed by Paystack. When you pay, you are redirected to Paystack’s own hosted checkout page — your card number, expiry date, and CVV are entered there, not on our site, and never pass through or get stored on our servers.

Your information is stored on Google Firebase (Firestore) and protected by access controls that restrict it to authorized Ayóra Tribe staff signed in through a secured admin login. While we take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, no method of storage or transmission over the internet is ever completely secure.

We keep order and customer records for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy — including bookkeeping, tax, and legal obligations — after which we take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize it. You can ask us to delete your information sooner; see Section 8.

Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act, 2023 (NDPA), you have the right to:

• Ask what personal information we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct inaccurate information.
• Ask us to delete your information, subject to our legal and accounting obligations.
• Withdraw consent to marketing emails at any time.
• Object to or ask us to restrict certain processing.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 11. We’ll respond within a reasonable time.

Ayóra Tribe is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us and we’ll remove it.

We may update this Policy from time to time. Changes take effect as soon as they’re posted on this page, with the “Last updated” date above revised accordingly.
